With 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector, Carolina moved to the healthcare industry working for an international scientific and regulatory affairs consulting firm in 2015. Her main focus was the development of new biological drugs, biosimilars and advanced therapies medicinal products. In September 2018, Carolina started working at Autonomous University of Barcelona as a PhD student at the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Clinical Pharmacology to deepen her expertise in the field of advanced therapies medicinal products. Carolina combined research with working at a Pharmaceutical Industry and in 2019, she moved to Brussels to work for a Pharmaceutical Company on the development of biological drugs. She is currently an Associated Director of Global Regulatory Affairs at the Immunology Division and a Gene Therapy advisor for the same company.
