Biography

Dr. Tremblay obtained her PhD from the Université de Montréal in Canada, followed by postdoctoral training at the University of Rochester and University of Wisconsin – Madison in the United States. She is an expert of microglial biology, across various contexts of health and disease, using an integrative approach that combines animal models, behaviour, human samples, correlative imaging techniques, and molecular analyses. Her career goal is to become a world leader in the development of innovative therapies normalizing microglial functions upon exposure to various environmental risk factors for disease throughout life.
