The invaluable experience gained caring for the most vulnerable members of South African society who presented for care, along with Augusta’s level of emotional intelligence, her passion for social justice and her remarkable ability to show compassion for those less fortunate placed Augusta in the position to use her intuitive intelligence to the benefit of her community. As a result of Augusta’s 36 years of service to the South African community she has received numerous awards during her career and is widely recognized as one of South Africa’s most influential women in healthcare.

Augusta has 36 years of experience in public, not-for-profit and private healthcare organisations and has served in leadership roles for the past 31 years. Augusta has managed leadership teams of between 10 and 45 professionals and is also a practicing academic. Her doctoral thesis was published internationally as a book in 2012 and is titled “The Case for Executive Coaching in Private Healthcare in South Africa”. Augusta serves on numerous CSI projects in the education and health care sectors. Augusta is currently the Head of Africa Business for the Lenmed Group.
