Head of the Experimental Neurology Unit and of the PhD program in Neuroscience, University of Milano-Bicocca, deputy Chief Scientific Officer, Milan Center for Neuroscience.
He served as Member of the Board of Directors of the Peripheral Nerve Society and as President of the Italian Peripheral Neuropathy Association. He is currently the Chair of the Toxic Neuropathy Consortium of the Peripheral Nerve Society.
He gave lectures on the peripheral neurotoxicity of anticancer drugs at American Academy of Neurology, American Society for Clinical Oncology and European Society for Medical Oncology meetings, as well as at FDA and EMA boards on toxic neuropathies and trials design. Author of more than 250 full papers in international peer-reviewed journals (Scopus h-index = 55).
