Hannah Polson, PhD, has been working in Medical Communications for nearly 9 years. Hannah completed a PhD in the Department of Parasitology at the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR) in London, before working in malaria vaccine at the Pasteur Institute Paris between 2002 and 2006. She then pursued a... read morePostdoctoral position at the London Research Institute investigating autophagy as a potential therapeutic target in oncology. After 12 years at the bench, Hannah joined MediTech MediaƤ in 2011 as a Medical Writer, became a Scientific Advisor at 2015, and since 2017 holds the position of a Scientific Director in the company. In this short lecture she aims to explain what Medical Communications involves and provide those starting out in this area a few pointers and insights.
