Mike Thompson is academic lead for management consulting in the Master of Business Administration program and for the MBA final residency. Thompson teaches the Advanced Strategic Integrated Practice course, which involves the delivery of live case studies using problem-based learning. He also teaches strategy for the Bachelor of Commerce program. Thompson is the co-author of Business Diagnostics, which introduces business owners through a pragmatic and effective “size up” process. He also co-authored Tourism Business Diagnostics. Thompson is actively involved in the Victoria technology community.
