Biography

The focus of the Kemper laboratory are the non-canonical roles of the intracellular complement system – the Complosome – in normal cell physiological processes in health and disease. Claudia Kemper received her degree in Biology from the University of Hamburg in Germany and performed her postdoctoral work at Washington University... read morein Saint Louis, MO, USA. She moved her laboratory to King’s College in London (KCL), UK, in 2008 and left KCL as Full Professor to accept a post as Section Chief at the NIH in 2017. Dr. Kemper remains a Visiting Professor at KCL and is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Luebeck, Luebeck, Germany.
