Dr. Ying Zhang holds a B.S. in Finance from JiNan University in Guangzhou, China. His advanced degrees include a M.S. in Information System Management and a Ph.D. in Finance with a minor in Real Estate from the University of Texas at Arlington. His research also includes online stock message board study, and Value Line analyst recommendations. He has published a book titled "Stock Message Boards: A Quantitative Approach to Measuring Investor Sentiment". He has also published articles in peer-reviewed journals, such as Journal of Banking & Finance, the Financial Review, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Journal of Real Estate Research, and Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics. Dr. Zhang has a great interest and a strong passion for both teaching and research in finance and real estate. His teaching interests include Investment Analysis, Portfolio Management, and Business Finance.
