His research interests include Industrial Excellence, Sustainability, OM-Finance Interface/Real Options and OM-Marketing Interface/ECR & Promotion Management. Since 1995, he co-manages with INSEAD the Industrial Excellence Award, a European benchmark industry competition on management-quality for competitiveness; since 2012, he co-chairs the academic partnership of ECR Germany.
