Dr. Yun Schüler-Zhou GIGA Institute of Asian Studies, Germany

Yun Schüler-Zhou is Associate Research Fellow at the German Institute of Global and Area Studies (GIGA), Institute of Asian Studies. She received her PhD in Business Administration from the University of Hamburg. Her research interests include internationalization of Chinese enterprises, China's Outward Foreign Direct Investment in Europe, and EU-China investment... read morerelationship. She has published several research articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals, focused mainly on China’s Outward Foreign Direct Investment. Her current research centres on the role of Chinese Diaspora in facilitating trade and investment in the host country. Dr. Schüler-Zhou has also worked as an independent researcher and consultant for different private and public organizations, and been involved in the training of managers in Germany.
