Dr. Jacoba Lilius Associate Professor, School of Policy Studies and School of Business, Queens University, Canada

Jacoba Lilius is an Associate Professor in the Queen’s University School of Policy Studies and holds a cross-appointment in the Queen’s School of Business. She earned a Ph.D. in organizational psychology from the University of Michigan. She is also part of a research team called the Compassion Lab (www.compassionlab.com) whose research focuses on the nature and impact of compassion in work organizations. Her published work includes articles in the Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Harvard Business Review, Human Relations, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and American Behavioral Scientist, as well as book chapters in the Handbook of Organizational Studies and the Handbook of Positive Organizational Scholarship.
