Biography

Kevin Daniels is Professor of Organizational Behaviour at Norwich Business, University of East Anglia in the UK. Prof. Daniels is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a Chartered Psychologist and a Full Member of the Division of Occupational Psychology of the British Psychological Society. His research interests concern the... read moredesign of work and its relationships with innovation, learning, emotion, stress, well-being and safety. Prof. Daniels' current research is focused on the fluid nature of job design and how job design promotes effective problem-solving and coping activity. Kevin has conducted research in: high hazard and safety critical sectors, such as the oil and gas industry and medical technologies sector; advanced manufacturing, including the automotive sector; elite sports; food supply chains; retail environments; and small and medium sized enterprises. His recent research work has been funded by the Engineering and Physical Science Research Council and the Health and Safety Executive. He has published over 50 peer reviewed scientific journal articles, over 20 contributions to academic books, and has edited two academic books. He has authored or co-authored several monograph length reports for the UK Health and Safety Executive. Prof. Daniel serves on the editorial boards of Human Relations, Journal of Management and Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology. He has been an Associate Editor of both Human Relations and Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, and has served on the editorial board of the British Journal of Management.
