David Collings is Senior Lecturer and Head of the Management Discipline at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Prior to his current appointment David was on the faculty at the University of Sheffield Management School and a Visiting Research Fellow at Strathclyde Business School. His research interests focus on management... read morein multinational corporations with a particular emphasis on staffing and talent management issues. His work in these areas has been published in outlets such as the Journal of World Business, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and the International Journal of Management Reviews. He has edited six books, most recently Global Talent Management, with Hugh Scullion and published by Routledge (2011). He is Editor of the Human Resource Management Journal. He has consulted and delivered executive education in Europe and the US.
