Professor Alan Fenwick OBE directs the Schistosomiasis Control Initiative based at Imperial College London. He has worked in Africa for over 30 years researching and controlling parasitic diseases. He champions against Neglected Tropical Diseases and supports 10 countries in Africa to implement control programmes.
