Mr. Cotton's areas of expertise include pensions, global reward issues, the pay review process, flexible benefits, short- and long-term incentives, performance-based pay and reward communication and education. He is also responsible for the CIPD's public policy stance on reward issues. He frequently appears in the media commentating on pay and benefit issues and is often invited to present on his research at reward conferences and events. Charles has a degree in economics from Aberystwyth University and a masters in HR from the London School of Economics. He is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.
