Frances Ashcroft holds BA, PhD and ScD degrees from Cambridge University. She is the Royal Society GlaxoSmithKline Research Professor, a Fellow of Trinity College, Oxford and Director of OXION, a training and research programme on the integrative physiology of ion channels.
