Danuta Herzyk, Senior Scientific Director in the Department of Safety Assessment, is responsible for managing world-wide preclinical activities related to safety of biopharmaceuticals and vaccines. In 1992, she started her career in the pharmaceutical industry by joining the Department of Safety Assessment at GlaxoSmithKline R&D and over time became a Director of Immunologic Toxicology.
