Marianne Franklin is Reader and Convener of the Transnational Communications and Global Media Program at Goldsmiths College, UK. Active in the Internet Rights and Principles Coalition at the UN Internet Governance Forum she has been an executive member of the International Communications Section of the International Studies Association, and former Chair of the Feminist Theory and Gender Studies section. Since 2006 she has been editor of Key Thinkers Past and Present, a bi-annual series in the journal, Information, Communication and Society.
