Recent research includes analysis of intraday liquidity management and diffusion of technology within central banking. He has served as a member of the Sub-Committee on Foreign Exchange Settlement Risk of the Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems (CPSS) under the auspices of the Bank for International Settlements and as Secretary to the Payments Risk Committee.
