Julio Montoya is professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the University of Zaragoza (Spain). He obtained his graduation in Pharmacy and PhD in Biochemistry in the Complutense University of Madrid. His research interest has always been related to the Mitochondrial genetic system. In 2004, Dr. Montoya received the first award “Aragon Investiga” from the Diputación General de Aragon for the best research career. He has 251 publications, 322 Congresses and 182 seminars and lectures.
