Biography

A graduate of London University and Manchester Business School, Professor Nigel Holden joined Lancashire Business School in January 2007 as Professor of Cross-Cultural Management, having previously held professorial posts in the UK, Germany and Denmark. He is a leading scholar in the field of cross-cultural management. He has co-authored management... read morebooks on Japan and Russia and his acclaimed Cross-cultural management: A knowledge management perspective (2002) has appeared in Chinese and Russian versions. His next book International business networks: tacit knowledge for competitive advantage is co-authored with Martin Glisby and is due to appear in 2009. He has co-edited journals on the global transfer of management knowledge and is co-founder and an associate editor of the European Journal of International Management, which was launched in 2007.
