Prof. Alexander is Director of Research in Financial Regulation at the Centre for Financial Analysis and Policy and is an ESRC Senior Research Fellow in International Political Economy and Law. Previously (2001-2003), he was Principal Investigator on the Lexis-Nexis-Butterworths research project on international financial regulation at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London. His research interests address the history of globalization of financial markets and the development of legal and economic theories of financial regulation.
