Jon Bains began his career as a university dropout and Founder, Editor and Designer of Convulsion magazine in Edinburgh. He moved to London in 1994 to launch the pioneering music portal IUMA Europe, an internet underground music database, a forerunner to Mp3.com and iTunes. He was approached by Radio 1... read moreto work on their first interactive outing, which resulted in the setting up of Obsolete, one of UK's first web agencies. In 1997 Jon co-founded Lateral with Simon Crab and David Jones and in 2000 he co-founded the über-tech elite LShift. Instrumental in planning numerous award winning online campaigns and programs for brands such as Stella Artois, Granada, Five, Sega, Nintendo, Pathé, RSPCA, Cadillac, EMI and more, his signature work has been seen for over a decade on Levi’s from the infamous Flat-Eric & Error page campaigns to the recent integrated community engagement program Antidote.
