Mark Flannery has held an Eminent Scholar Chair in Finance at the University of Florida since 1989. He holds economics degrees from Princeton and Yale Universities and was previously a faculty member at the University of North Carolina and the University of Pennsylvania. He has consulted with private banks and government agencies, including the Federal Reserve and FDIC, and served on the Board of the Barnett Bank of Alachua County, a $425 million dollar community bank. His teaching activities include development of a web-based bank financial management game ProBanker, which is used in both domestic and international teaching programs.
