Biography

Louise is a highly experienced planner and strategist with 27 years experience in the aviation industry. She has previously worked for the UK CAA, Birmingham and Manchester Airports. At Manchester Airport, Louise played a key role in influencing UK and European aviation policy debates and was responsible for corporate strategy,... read morebusiness planning, forecasting and overall aviation policy development, including the strategy and concepts behind the airport's development strategy, the second passenger terminal and the second runway. Since joining York Aviation, Louise has led the team on numerous airport economic impact studies, including studies for ACI EUROPE and Lyon Saint Exupery Airport. Louise has also led studies relating to UK and European aviation policy on behalf of regional development agencies and their airports. She has given evidence at several public inquiries, most recently on behalf of the airline operators at Stansted Airport. Louise is providing advice to Ryanair on a range of matters including regulatory, planning and policy matters in connection with Stansted and Dublin Airports, and has acted as expert witness for the Public Hearing in connection with Dublin's Terminal 2 development.
