Her professional and scientific activity focuses on several areas of laboratory medicine, including clinical chemistry, cardiovascular biomarkers, enzymology, immunometric techniques, endocrine testing, electrophoresis, point-of-care testing, and laboratory automation. Her research has particularly addressed cardiovascular clinical biochemistry, with emphasis on the analytical and clinical evaluation of cardiac troponins, natriuretic peptides, and other biomarkers of myocardial injury, as well as on preanalytical and analytical factors affecting laboratory test results.

She has contributed to scientific publications, national and international congresses, clinical research projects, and teaching activities in Laboratory Medicine and Clinical Biochemistry at the University of Padova.
