Biography

Maureen Sartor is a faculty member of the Center for Computational Medicine and Biology and Investigator of the NIH’s National Center for Integrative Biomedical Informatics (NCIBI). She received her undergraduate training at Xavier University in Cincinnati, her Master’s degree in biomathematics at North Carolina State University, and her PhD in... read morebiostatistics from the University of Cincinnati. She is an expert in using computational, statistical, and mathematical methods to interrogate the genome in order to better understand the mechanisms by which complex biological systems function. She has also performed methodological research in the analysis of microarray data and functional enrichment testing. Dr. Sartor’s research interests include computational systems biology, Bayesian analysis methods and methodological development for high-throughput data.
