His research focuses on advanced nanomedicine, targeted drug delivery, vaccine delivery systems, and translational pharmacology. He investigates cytokine networks and immune and inflammatory pathways in cancer, infectious diseases, and tissue-related conditions such as wound healing and tissue engineering. His work includes the use of nanoparticles to target cancer-related proteins, including EGFR and VEGFR.

He also studies next-generation vaccine adjuvants, antibacterial nanoformulations, and bioactive compounds from desert plants in southwestern Saudi Arabia. His research integrates formulation science, physicochemical analysis, molecular biology, and preclinical studies to develop safe and effective therapeutics for global health challenges.
