Jim had extensive retail banking experience with AIB before moving into the marketing arena for the bank. In 1990 he was responsible for the setting up of a decentralized marketing function for AIB in the bank's southern region. In 1995 he moved to headquarters in Dublin to develop and implement... read morea nationwide PR structure. Subsequently Jim began formalizing the bank's sponsorship and corporate giving sections of AIB. These sections became part of brand management in 2000 and are now an integral part of the development of the AIB brand in Ireland. The role also included responsibility for advertising campaigns, sponsorship integration, media relations and managing the bank’s CSR activity. In 2008 Jim moved roles and is now heading up the retail marketing team for the bank in the Republic of Ireland. Jim is a member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and holds a Bachelor of Financial Services degree from UCD. Jim is also on the Advisory Board of the Ireland Funds and was awarded a Fellowship of the Marketing Institute in November 2006 in recognition of outstanding contribution to the development of marketing in Ireland.
