He is Co-Director of the Yale-London Collaboration on CNS Repair. Dr. Waxman received his BA from Harvard, and his MD and PhD degrees (1970, 1972) from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Waxman has received international recognition for his research, which focuses molecular techniques on the nervous system, with the goal of finding new therapies that will promote recovery of function after injury to the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.
