Patricia Munroe is currently Professor of Molecular Medicine at The William Harvey Research Institute (WHRI), Barts and the London, UK. She received her PhD in Medicine in 1995, following this worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at University College London. Her current research is focused on determining the genetic and molecular basis of essential hypertension, this is primarily funded by the Medical Research Council, and the British Heart Foundation, UK.
