Abstract
This paper explores the value of developing an on-campus calendar of activity to engage and build relationships with future alumni stakeholders while they are still students, taking the University of Nottingham international student scholars as a case study.

Author's Biography
Kyriaki Protopapa started her career in higher education in 2015, holding various roles with an international element and focusing on relationship management, stakeholder outreach, programme delivery and cross-cultural communications. Kyriaki worked for over three years at The University of Manchester Division of Development and Alumni Relations as the Global Volunteers and Networks Officer, being the first point of contact for over 200 international alumni associations and regional contacts. Following that, she joined the Careers Service as the International Employability Executive, leading on international employer engagement and account managing over 50 top international recruiters and organisations. She subsequently worked for the University of Nottingham Campaigns and Alumni Relations Office in the role of Volunteering and Advocacy Manager (International) where she focused on harnessing the time, expertise and influence of high-profile international alumni to maximise volunteering contributions and raise the profile and global reputation of the institution. Currently, she is the International Relations Manager for Middle East, Turkey and UK International, working with prospective students, school counsellors, agents, sponsors and regional alumni advisers to boost international student recruitment numbers from these markets.
