Abstract
This paper analyses the concept of creating a new airport in Poland, the Solidarity Transport Hub, which is ultimately to be one of the most important transfer hubs in Europe. The purpose of this paper is to introduce readers to the planned investment and present a discussion of its actual construction and legal status. Among other things, the paper discusses the assumptions of the project, as well as the phases of its implementation, the specifications of the investment and the possibilities of achieving the expected success. In addition, the author extends the discussion of the investment with an analysis of its possible benefits, including the advantages and disadvantages of the plan, and also provides her suggestions for the success of the investment. The paper is a preview of the changes underway in Europe's major hub market.

Author's Biography
Karolina Pietrzykowska is a transactional lawyer and holds a PhD, obtained at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw, Poland. She also graduated with an LLM for international lawyers from Loyola University in Chicago (US Law), USA. She gained her professional experience as a transactional lawyer at law firms such as Norton Rose Fulbright, Baker McKenzie and DWF, among others. She specialises mainly in mergers and acquisitions transactions, real estate and aviation finance. In the world of diplomacy, she gained experience at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington, DC, USA. She also developed commercial and transactional issues while working for international corporations, mainly as an in-house lawyer. She is the author of several publications in the field of aviation law. She developed her analysis of aviation law topics from a legal and financial perspective as part of her defended doctoral dissertation.
