Author's Biography

Matthew Doan is a senior leader at Boston Consulting Group. There, he advises senior clients in driving innovative digital and cyber security solutions for some of the world’s most important commercial businesses. Previously, Matthew led Booz Allen’s Commercial Strategy practice delivering military-grade solutions to critical infrastructure organisations. Prior, he supported the US Intelligence Community and Department of Defense in strategic threat preparedness. His primary interests centre on the intersection of technology and human dynamics. He holds an MA from Georgetown University and a BBA from James Madison University. He regularly speaks at technology conferences, and his passion for affecting change is reflected through regular writing such as with Harvard Business Review and MIT Sloan Management Review. He is also a Cybersecurity Policy Fellow at New America and a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations.
