Invite colleaguesHow to specify the content of a cookie consent request
Abstract
This paper provides an introduction to the information that forms part of a cookie consent request as well as describes the components that need to comprise a data processing operation, including cookies, which would ensure that the consent given is specific and well informed. The paper uses the Google Analytics (GA) script as an example. It presents a ‘full’ specification for the consent request to use the GA script. The paper ends with a few remarks on how to present the information in the consent request in a clear and comprehensible manner so as to enable the user to comprehend the functioning of the GA script.
