Abstract
This paper covers the entire umbrella of Indian real estate as well as the disruptors in each sector. The sector is undergoing a paradigm shift and is expected to transform further. The article discusses the traditional real estate asset classes of residential and commercial, as well as the growth of the industrial and warehousing segment.

Author's Biography
Ramesh Nair is CEO and Country Head of JLL India and is responsible for the overall direction, strategy and growth of the firm. JLL is India’s largest real estate services firms in the country with more than 9,600 diverse professionals, with business revenues nearing $455bn in 2016–17. Ramesh has 19 years of broad based, practical, hands on professional expertise in most facets of real estate business and has worked across asset classes such as office, retail, land, residential, etc. advising multiple domestic and international owners, occupiers and investors. He is a member of the Asia Pacific Leadership Board as well as the Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) — Western Region Real Estate and Infrastructure Conclave. He has also served as a Non-Executive Director on the Global RICS Regulatory Board for three years.
