A golden opportunity: Case study of the Pritzker Military Museum & Library
The Pritzker Military Museum & Library had a golden opportunity in late 2013. The institution expanded from a library to a museum and a library. This institutional change occurred at the same time that the institution was due to upgrade its library catalogue. This paper focuses on the digital asset management decisions to integrate the library catalogue, oral history recordings, archived television show productions and other digital assets into the institution’s rebranded website, and the initiatives the organisation has since used to publicise and promote its digital assets through a variety of formats and channels.
