She is currently Senior Associate, Capital Projects & Economics, GIS-Global Incentive Service, PwC Italy.

Previously she was an Open Innovation Consultant at PNO Group BV.
Among other things, she is Project Coordinator of the AI-CUBE project (Artificial Intelligence and Big Data CSA for Process Industry Users, Business Development and Exploitation), funded in 2020 under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme (GA 958402); and PNO project manager of the Horizon Results Booster initiative of the European Commission.
Chiara got a degree in International Law from LUMSA University in 2010 (Rome, Italy), and two Master’s Degrees in diplomatic studies (2011) and international relations and international protection of human rights (2013), from the Società Italiana per l’Organizzazione Internazionale (SIOI - Rome, Italy). In 2017 she got her Ph.D. degree in innovation management from the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (Pisa, Italy).

Before starting her work in consultancy, she was Postdoctoral Scholar at the Haas School of Business of the University of California, Berkeley (USA) and Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (Pisa, IT). She ran research on Corporate Capability Building Programs for Digital Transformation, in both small and large corporations. Chiara led projects on Open Innovation, digital business model and strategy, innovation policy, technology and knowledge transfer, and publishes her work on international scientific journals and practitioner-oriented reviews. Dr. De Marco is Industry Program Advisor for the World Open Innovation Conference Organizing Committee, in charge of the management of Industry Sessions and Workshops.
