Biography

Rob Froud obtained a BSc and DO in Osteopathy in 2003, followed by an MSc in Medical Statistics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a PhD in Epidemiology from Queen Mary University of London. Currently, he is Professor of Health Sciences at Kristiania University College, Campus... read moreKristiania, in Oslo, and a Senior Research Fellow at Warwick Medical School, University of Warwick, in the UK. Rob's research is mainly in the areas of back pain and health outcome measures. Rob is particularly interested in the properties of outcome measurement instruments and how modern technology may be able to be exploited in order to improve health outcome measurement. In addition to his academic work, Rob directs a University of Warwick spin-out company, Clinvivo Ltd, which provides health measurement services for clinical trials and health services research more generally.
