Ellen Wright Clayton, MD, JD, is the Craig-Weaver Professor of Pediatrics, Professor of Law, Professor of Health Policy, and Co-Founder of the Center for Biomedical Ethics and Society at Vanderbilt University. She received her law degree at Yale and her medical degree at Harvard and is a member of National Academy of Medicine.
