Agnes Nairn works as an international researcher, writer, speaker and consultant on issues relating to commercialism and children. She is Professor of Marketing at two of Europe's leading Business Schools and a Visiting Research Fellow at the School of Management, University of Bath. She is on the Executive Board of... read morethe Market Research Society's Journal and the Editorial Board of International Journal Young Consumers. Her academic papers on marketing to children have appeared in a wide range of major international journals and her 2008 paper on children online for the International Journal Young Consumers won 'Outstanding Paper of the Year'. She has also written a number of policy reports for Consumer Focus, The Family and Parenting Institute and Care for the Family and has played a very active role on the Department of Children Schools and Families panel which in 2009 was commissioned to assess the impact of the commercial world on children's wellbeing. She is co-author with Ed Mayo of Consumer Kids.
