Samuel Miller is Professor of Genome Sciences, Medicine, and Microbiology at the University of Washington, Seattle. After clinical training in internal medicine and infectious disease at the Massachusetts General Hospital he studied in the laboratories of Dr. Dyann Wirth and Dr. John Mekalanos at Harvard. Dr. Miller’s current research interests are focused on defining the molecular basis of bacterial pathogenesis and interactions with eukaryotic cells, with a particular interest in bacterial interactions with innate immunity.
