Founded in 2006, OBS Business School is a 100% online private business school, as I said, located in Barcelona in Spain. OBS is an autonomous school with a high degree of internal competence in online learning, curating resources from a variety of places so that no external provider dominates them. It is part of Grupo Planeta Formación y Universidades, a company active in publishing in higher education. OBS offers 100% online Masters degree programmes in the field of management, reaching physically remote regions where access to education has traditionally been a problem. OBS is committed to online learning, as shown by its additional activities and accolades. For example, the OBServatory is an international network of deans, academic directors, lecturers and researchers from different universities and business schools that support online education. The OBServatory aims to carry out research and share experiences and knowledge regarding online higher education. It also aims to create a space for debate and knowledge-sharing in order to identify new trends and advancements. Thus, contribute to building quality standards in the field of online higher education. The other accolade, one for which I was part of awarding, is EOCCS, the global benchmark for online course quality awarded by EFMD Global.
