The collection is of interest across many disciplines and will appeal to researchers, lecturers,
graduate students and your most advanced undergraduates in biomedical and life sciences and of
course, medical departments. In order to assist you in gaining maximum value from this prestigious
collection we have developed a number of promotional tools, which many of our customers have found
extremely useful:
Built in search tool and MARC Records
So that your users may quickly find relevant talks from the collection matching their search criteria,
the collection comes with a built in search engine and an electronic (MARC) catalogue. The MARC
records have been meticulously prepared by librarians from Kings College London Science Library to
ensure easy integration into your centralized library database. The advanced search functionality
ensures that even your busiest researchers will stumble across relevant talks presented by other
leading world experts, whilst searching for more traditional papers, books etc.
Complete information & downloadable MARC records for The Biomedical & Life Sciences Collection
are available here.
Note: MARC records for The Marketing & Management Collection are coming soon.

Online banner advertisement
We have created a selection of promotional banner ads for placing on
your library, faculty and department websites. The banners have proved to be highly effective
and can easily be integrated onto most websites.
Offsite access
Frequently we have found that many of our users like to access the resource when they are
off-campus/site (i.e. from home). In order to facilitate this, offsite access can easily be
set up via a proxy server and/or VPN, where the user simply enters a username and password.
More technical access and viewing information available here.
Usage statistics
It is our pleasure to provide you with quarterly usage statistics (or any other interval you request)
showing the number of talks viewed over a given time period. The usage statistics show the number
of talks viewed broken down by series.
So that you may easily monitor if the promotional tools are having the required effect, every
quarter we provide you with detailed usage statistics showing the number of talks viewed broken
down by series. If you would like to receive the reports, more frequently this can also be arranged.
Suggested usage for resource
This prestigious new resource is perfect for the classroom setting, the lab, your research,
as part of your course curriculum, as a study/reference tool for your students and of course
