Federico Innocenti is a Research Associate/Associate Professor in the Department of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Chicago. He received his MD and PhD from the University of Pisa, Italy. He is interested in the individualization of pharmacological therapies in cancer treatment by elucidating the genetic basis of difference in patient response. The ultimate goal of his research is to improve the safety and efficacy of cancer drug therapy.

Dr. Geoffrey Liu - University of Toronto, Canada

Geoffrey Liu is an Assistant Professor at the Princess Margaret Hospital, University of Toronto, Canada. His laboratory is studying the behaviours of cancer of the aerodigestive tract as well as orphan thoracic tumours such as thymoma and mesothelioma. They are currently assessing biomarkers and genetic variations in biologic samples obtained from large scale studies, such as the Lung Cancer Screening Study.
