Protein Epidemiology:
Understanding Human Diseases at the Level of Protein Structure and Function
For all those wishing to be briefed on the latest developments in the study and understanding of protein epidemiology including students of graduate courses in the fields of biomedicine, chemical biology, biophysics and agricultural biotechnology, researchers in academic departments who wish to be kept abreast of the latest developments in these areas and scientists in pharmaceutical companies investigating novel targets for drug development.
Prof. Ben Dunn - Distinguished Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Florida, USA
Ben Dunn is a Distinguished Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Florida, USA. He received his PhD from the University of California at Santa Barbara. His research focuses on understanding the forces which control the specificity and catalytic efficiency of enzymes. His laboratory studies the proteolytic enzymes through the use of site-directed mutagenesis and kinetic analysis with welldefined synthetic oligopeptide substrates. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Protein and Peptide Letters and Co-Editor of Current Protocols in Protein Science.
