Human Population Genetics:

Evolution and Variation

    TARGET AUDIENCE

For all those wishing to be briefed on the latest developments in the study and understanding of human population genetics including human geneticists and academics from biological disciplines involved in genetics and graduate and postgraduate students in related fields.

    SERIES EDITOR(S)

Prof. Luigi Luca Cavalli-Sforza - Stanford University, USA

Luigi Luca Cavalli-Sforza is an Emertius Professor at Stanford University, where he has been since 1970. He is one of the most distinguished genticists of the twentieth century and has dedicated his research to the study of the origin of modern humans and their evolutionary history by using genetic markers. His work has always taken a multi-disciplinary apprach including demography, archaeology, linguistics, anthropology, surnames and to the interactions of genetic and cultural evolution.

Prof. Marcus Feldman - Stanford University, USA

Marcus Feldman is the Burnet C. And Mildred Finley Wohlford Professor Biological Sciences and Director of Morrison Institute for Population and Resource Studies at Stanford University. He received a BSc in mathematics and statistics from the University of Western Australia, an MSc in mathematics from Monash University and a PhD in mathematical biology from Stanford. He has been a member of the Stanford faculty since 1971. His research group uses applied mathematics and computer modelling to simulate and analyze the process of evolution.
