Yehuda Shoenfeld is a physician and researcher and Head of the Department of Medicine "B" Sheba Medical Center, Tel Aviv University, Israel. He is also Head of the Research Unit of Autoimmune Diseases at the same institution. He is also the incumbent of the Laura Schwarz-Kipp Chair for Research of Autoimmune Diseases, Tel-Aviv University, Israel. His current research focuses on atherosclerosis and autoimmunity, including immunomodulation, IVIG in SLE, vasculitis and cancer. He has spoken at and organized numerous scientific conferences worldwide. He is a widely published academic and he is on the editorial board of many highly regarded journals.
