The Endoplasmic Reticulum - sample extracts available

The Endoplasmic Reticulum:

Fundamentals and Role in Disease

    TARGET AUDIENCE

For all those wishing to be briefed on the latest developments in the study and understanding of the endoplasmic reticulum including students of graduate courses in biochemistry, cell biology, developmental biology, cancer, neurobiology and immunology, advanced medical students, academic researchers interested in protein and lipid synthesis, regulation of metabolism and diseases affected by the endoplasmic reticulum and researchers in the pharmaceutical industry.

    SERIES EDITOR(S)

Prof. Marek Michalak - Department of Biochemistry, University of Alberta, Canada

Marek Michalak is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. He received his undergraduate degree in cell biology from the University of Warsaw and a PhD from the Nencki Institute for Experimental Biology. He studied structure and function of muscle sarcoplasmic reticulum. Marek's current area of interest is in endoplasmic reticulum chaperones and their role in congenital diseases and embryonic development.
