Dr. Lyudmila Zaitseva - Division of Physics and Biophysics, University of Salzburg, Austria

Lyudmila Zaitseva is responsible for operating the Database on Nuclear Smuggling, Theft and Orphan Radiation Sources (DSTO) at the University of Salzburg, Austria. She started her research in the field of illicit trafficking in nuclear and other radioactive material at Stanford University’s Institute for International Studies in 1999. Her current area of interest is emergency management in case of CBRN terrorist attacks.
